I asked Jack to tell us a little about the project that he is involved in. Here is what he had to say about it:
“As Durham Cricket Foundation’s Community Development Officer, my role is to deliver charitable activities across a wide range of community programmes. I deliver quality and innovative programmes to the best of my abilities, to a wide variety of groups in the community. The fundamentals of these programmes are based around cricket. They allow everyone to join in with some form of cricketing activity. Currently in the GNCH, our aim is to help bring cricket to those who may not necessarily get the chance, and we are loving every second of it. In the upcoming year, the foundation manager and I intend to build on already formed projects to expand the opportunities and inclusivity to the community.”
Jack has certainly made a difference to the community of patients in the GNCH.
