Queen's Jubilee Party

Queen's Jubilee Party

At 'Pupil's Voice', students at the Kenton Site decided that they would like to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. They decided on a tea party before we broke up for half term. Students worked together to design posters to advertise the party and decided what they would like to have to eat at the party. During Food Tech lessons, students baked buns, cakes, scones, sausage rolls, mini quiche and even made a replica of the Queen's Jubilee Trifle! Students made bunting and designed place mats and one student went with a member of staff to buy extra decorations. A group of students used enrichment time to decorate the hall to get it party ready! The party was a great success and enjoyed by all staff and students!
