Rocket Science

Class 5, 6 and 7 carried out some rocket science last half term! They learnt about the science behind fireworks in a practical activity.   A Bunsen burner and different metal salts were used to recreate the different colours of fireworks.  They then used iron fillings and a splint to make their own sparklers.
